ABFs (Sunday Bible Classes)

What are ABFs?

Adult Bible Fellowships

Adult: They are groups of people wanting to grow in their personal lives and to connect with others in the congregation.
Bible: They focus on the teaching and application of the Word of God to daily living in today’s culture.
Fellowship: They also focus on relationships, while equipping people for service and sharing their faith.

Adult Bible Fellowships are groups for study and fellowship, organized around the Sunday morning adult Bible study hour, often called Sunday School.
Our desire is to equip people to lead others to Christ and coach them to live for Him with purpose and abandon.

Our ABF schedule!

First-Hour Summer Electives (meet at 9 a.m.) Lititz Campus

Horizons - Led by Bob White in Room 321 (Art Room) and co-taught by Andrew Lindberg and Mitch Swords. The Horizon's ABF class begins each school year with a Kick-Off Breakfast (September 16th this year). A series of discussions on parenting begins September 23rd. Questions? Contact Bob White at

Boreans - Led by Mike Lutz and Matt Weaver in the Fellowship Hall.  All ages are welcome to join us as we look closely in the Word of God. We will be studying a series developed by Dr. William Randolph, "Basic Biblical Principles for Victorious Living." This study addresses the following questions: What happened to me when I was saved? What do I need to know about the enemy? How can I successfully resist Satan's attacks? How can I discern God's will?

Trek - This is a class for the Young Adults at Grace Church, ages 18-35, single or married. They meet at 9 am in the Library for lessons that are applicable for today's young adults. They also meet every first and third Sunday for food, fellowship and topical discussion at 6:30 pm. Like "Trek at Grace" on Facebook for updates.

Second Hour Summer Electives (meet at 10:45 a.m.) Lititz Campus

Enterprise - Led by Linford Youndt and Ron Moore; meets in the Fellowship Hall all throughout the year; a group predominately ages 50+. We start with prayer requests and prayer, and focus on detailed Bible Study. They are currently studying the two oldest books in the New Testament - 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. All are welcome!

Encouragers - Taught by Pastor Andy plus a few others, and chaired by Royce Wingert, the Encouragers meet in Room 323 from September through May. They seek to be a community of believers in Jesus more than a class. They study the Bible together and, through discussion, work at applying the truth of the Bible to their lives. Many are in middle age, but the class is open to all age groups. Sometimes books of the Bible are chose as a point of focus; at other times the class centers their thoughts on relevant Christian life topics. They'd love to have you join them!

Navigators - Taught by Chet Halstead (retired pastor and former Dean of Students at Lancaster Bible College) and chaired by Clyde Martin, the Navigators meet in Room 317 from September through May. navigators are a group of seniors who have walked with Jesus for many years. Monthly social times are enjoyed by the class. The class focus is follow-up discussion on Pastor Tim Boal's sermons.

Seekers - Led by Pastor Whitie Willard and Roger Trump; meets in Room 301 from September through June. The Seekers are a class of adults that enjoy fellowship, Bible study, application and discussion on a wide range of Biblical topics. All ages are welcome!
